On The House

A community driven initiative to ensure everyone eats

Program Overview

People in underserved communities need our help NOW. With lives being upended daily and access to supplies now difficult, there are millions who will go to sleep at night without having a single meal. On the House will impact thousands of families by providing pre-packaged hot meals and additional essentials to undeserved communities all over the country, starting in New York.  Our goal is to distribute 10,000 meals to those in need this holiday season.   We have partnered with minority and female owned caterers to provide all meals.

We will organize, facilitate, and execute a safe and sanitary pickup for the aforementioned items. Pickup locations will be centralized and easily accessible for individuals within the hardest communities.

We will work with our brand partners to create custom-tailored programs specifically directed at the needs of a particular community.

UPDATE as of 12.29.2020 - Happy Holidays from the On The House team.   We will be hosting our final outreach of the year today, in partnership with our friends at The Inn in Hempstead, Long Island. For our last outreach, we dropped off 500 meals to the Inn to be served freshly heated today!

We recently had three amazIng outreaches at Hour Children in Long Island City on 12.21, 12.22. & 12.24 which included sponsors Extra Butter and Zara Realty.  We are beyond thankful to all of our partners and everyone who donated to our GoFundMe. Due to the overwhelming support from you all we have been able to raise $63, 848, exceeding our original goal of $50,000 and serving over 9,000 meals!

Our GoFundMe campaign will remain open and after we conclude our holiday break, we hope to expand our program into 2021. You can stay tuned for all updates here and check out some photos from our past outreaches below.  In our house, everyone eats.
